Lies to pts are never beneficial to the pt & may only be comforting to the relief of the comforter (Wayne, 2017). 5) My response &intervention focuses on acknowledging &empathizing with the patient, to create a positive atmosphere that reinforces their coping abilities (Wayne, 2017). 6) It give a Feeling of Control, hence Self Esteem is boosted since people feel they are participating and not just being represented (Wayne, 2017). | Short-term: · Goal met.
