DSDM is an effective approach in providing an agile framework which will be effective equally for the large and complex organizational projects just like CLDS or some small straightforward solution. DSDM is not only effective to provide development and software related IT solutions but equally appropriate for providing a non-IT solution. DSDM is also called “mature agile” approach as it provides the strong base to the 21st-century corporate projects such as General Dynamics. I completely agree with the DSDM approach to be implemented in General Dynamics as it a wider concept of Agile and help for Agile software development and fully adopted the value for the Manifesto of software development.

The agile approach method is more beneficial and productive as compared to the traditional method of project management. Waterfall Model is a traditional method which is not an iterative method. The traditional method can be more effective mostly during the process stage. Comparatively, the agile approach such as sequential model goes through different stages such as requirement analysis, process design, testing, implementation, and maintenance. Both approaches are effective to create value proposition but the agile approach is beneficial to provide benefits at the beginning of the process in the form of delivering high adaptability, visibility, and value which reduce the project related risks. In the agile approach, user involvement is encouraged and promoted transparency and visibility. The continuous planning and feedback during each phase of the project are effective to deliver value to the business.
